Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Ninth Grade Success Grant Program, which was created in House Bill 19-1276, provides
funding to assist ninth-grade students in developing the skills they need to graduate from high
school and be successful postgraduation. The department recommends amendments to align
the rule language for the grant program with the new statutory language from House Bill 23-
1231, Concerning Mathematics in Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. The bill updated
the list of priorities that the state board must consider when awarding grants. |
