Statutory Authority |
In Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) Title 8: Article 1, the Industrial Relations Act, CRS 8-1-101 et seq as amended; Article 3, the Labor Peace Act, CRS 8-3-101 et seq as amended; Article 3.3, the Collective Bargaining by County Employees Act, CRS 8-3.3-101 et seq as amended; and Article 6, CRS 8-6-101 et seq as amended. The CDLE Division of Labor Standards and Statistics Director has authority to enforce, interpret, apply, and administer the above statutes and rules promulgated thereunder. |
Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of amending what was formerly the “Rules of Procedure to the Colorado Labor Peace Act and Industrial Relations Act” and what is now the Labor Peace and Industrial Relations Rules is to simplify the title for easier reference; clarify these administrative rules pertaining to employee-employer relationships, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practices; and, as permitted by statute, to bring these rules into harmony with the Division’s other labor relations rules. |
