| Statutory Authority |
Pursuant to House Bill 2022-1120, the General Assembly amended section 24-33.5-1810 , C.R.S., related to the School Security Disbursement Program. Section 24-33.5-1810(7), C.R.S. mandates that the Executive Director of the Department of Public Safety shall promulgate rules to establish the time frames for submitting disbursement applications and awarding disbursements and to specify any additional information that must be included in disbursement applications. |
| Description of Subjects/Issues |
This hearing will cover amendments to the rules for the School Security Disbursement Program (8 CCR 1507-45) in response to House Bill 2022-1120. The amendments will establish the time frames for submitting disbursement applications and awarding disbursements. The amendments will also specify any additional information that must be included in disbursement applications as described in subsection (4)(f) of section 24-33.5-1810, C.R.S.
