| Description of Subjects/Issues |
In addition to necessary clean-up and updates to standards, these rules require updates based on
provisions provided by the passing of Colorado House Bill 22-1220 and HB22-1390, including:
• An interim authorization pathway for alternative teacher candidates; and
• The expansion of the temporary eligibility authorization to serve as an appropriate
credential for individuals participating in the K-5 Social & Emotional School Health Pilot
Program. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
In addition to necessary clean-up and updates to standards, these rules require updates based on
provisions provided by the passing of Colorado House Bill 22-1220, specifically:
• An interim authorization pathway for alternative teacher candidates
Updates include:
• Clarification in the process for preparation program authorization and reauthorization;
• Providing an option for educational interpreters to be credentialed while awaiting exam
results;
• Specific standards for induction programs for special services providers and principals and
administrators
• Clean-up of numbering and other revisions for sake of clarity and consistency |
