| Description of Subjects/Issues |
This proposed rulemaking is a follow-up to the November 2018 facility classification hearing. To accommodate a two-year transition period for facilities whose classifications were upgraded by the new criteria, the old tables were retained in the regulation. The old tables in Regulation 100 become obsolete after March 1, 2021. This proposed rulemaking is to delete the obsolete tables.
Additionally the application requirements for site-specific operator in responsible charge designations became obsolete after the application deadline of December 31, 2020. This rulemaking will remove those requirements and add clarifying language at 100.10.8(a) to explain the meaning and context of site-specific operators in responsible charge. |
