| Description of Subjects/Issues |
These amendments repeal 6 CCR 1007-2, Part 1, Section 18 – Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Sites and Facilities – Waste Grease Transporters, Facilities, and Personal Users of Waste Grease.
These amendments correspond to House Bill 20-1374, which repealed Section 30-20-123 C.R.S. and the authorization of the Waste Grease Program as implemented under Section 18 of the solid waste regulations.
As part of this rulemaking, corresponding amendments are also being made to Section 1.2 (Definitions), Section 1.5.2 (Waiver Processes and Procedures), Section 1.7.5 (Waste Grease Annual Fees),Section 4.1.2 (K) (Financial Assurance), and Section 8.1.4(C) (Recycling Exemptions) associated with the repeal of the Section 18 regulations. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this rulemaking was to repeal the Section 18 Waste Grease Regulations of 6 CCR 1007-2 Part 1, Section 18, and the associated sections to align and update the regulations with House Bill 20-1374, which was signed on June 29, 2020. House Bill 20-1374 repealed 30-20-123 CRS and the authorization of the Waste Grease Program as implemented under Section 18 of the regulations. |
