The Mega Millions Consortium, which includes the Colorado Lottery, is making changes to the Mega Millions jackpot game due to decreased sales as a result of the COVID19 pandemic. This rule change is essential to ensure that prizes advertised by the Colorado Lottery are properly funded by the sale of lottery tickets or shares.
The Colorado Lottery Commission finds that, pursuant to section 24-4-103(6)(a), C.R.S., immediate adoption of this rule is imperatively necessary to comply with a state or federal law or federal regulation or for the preservation of public health, safety, or welfare and compliance with the requirements of the APA would be contrary to the public interest. |
