| Description of Subjects/Issues |
Regulation 47-912 - Identification.
Amendments to this regulation are intended to: (1) capture the availability of verified digital IDs as an acceptable form of identification for age verification purposes, if the ID is a digitized version of one of the enumerated types already in place in the rule; and (2) define biometric identification devices and add the availability of an affirmative defense to a licensee who relied on such a device in determining customer age for the purchase of alcohol beverages. |
