| Description of Subjects/Issues |
Pursuant to Section 13.2.3 of these rules, the Division has reviewed the fund balance of the Public School Construction Cash Fund and determined that there is a surplus. In order to decrease the surplus, the Program fees have been modified (Section 13). The revised schedule will significantly decrease the cost to those applying for permits under the Program.
In addition, pursuant to Section 13.4, the Division is waiving fees and has established a fee holiday for those certifying as Inspectors. This change will go into effect for all certifications initiated or renewed in 2018. Fees already paid for 2018 renewals will be refunded. Please note that the fees for certification or registration identified within the emergency rules do NOT reflect the fee waiver.
In addition, also pursuant to Section 13.4, the Division is waiving fees and has established a fee holiday for those School Districts which utilize the Division for Maintenance Inspections. This change will go into effect for all maintenance inspections performed by the Division for the 17/18 school year. Fees already paid for 17/18 inspections will be refunded. Please note that the Maintenance Inspection fees identified within the emergency rules do NOT reflect the fee waiver. |
