| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
Open for annual review of the entire chapter including, but not limited to, consideration of regulations regarding seasons and season dates, bag and possession limits, licensing requirements, manner of take provisions and special conditions or restrictions applicable to waters of the state, including, but not limited to, the following:
• Allowing the use of sling bows for harvesting fish species that can currently be taken using archery equipment.
• Closing Beswick Pond on the James M. Robb Colorado River State Park to fishing.
• Separating Trout Creek fishing regulations upstream and downstream of Sheriff Reservoir. This includes removing the whitefish provisions upstream of Sheriff Reservoir and removing the catch and release for cutthroat trout, and flies and lures only provisions downstream of Sheriff Reservoir. |
