| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of this rulemaking is to move relevant rule provisions that are currently in 8CCR 1201-1 “Health Requirements Governing Livestock and Poultry” into 8 CCR 1201-19. 8 CCR 1201-1 will be repealed in their entirety. Specifically, these amendments add a definition for “zoological park”; incorporate exemptions to livestock that require a certificate of veterinary inspection; set forth the certificate of veterinary requirements for non-livestock animals; and incorporate bovine dairy herd tuberculosis testing and accreditation. These revisions incorporate changes as a result of the Department’s Regulatory Efficiency Review Process. |
