Rulemaking to amend Rules 7, 8, and 11 and to add new Rule 16, to clarify the obtaining, adminstering, and dispensing of prescription and non prescription medications and devices for registered Naturopathic Doctors; AND, to clarify the requirements for a Registered Naturopathic Doctor to treat Children under 8 years of age. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
These rules were promulgated in order to carry out the powers and duties of the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations, Department of Regulatory Agencies (“Director”) pursuant to section 12-37.3-104(1)(a), C.R.S. The purpose of the amendments to Rule 7, 8, 11 and new Rule 16 is to implement HB 15-1075-Concerning the authority for NDs to treat children under twq years of age;and,HB 15-1352-Concerning modifications to the Naturopathic Formulary./ |
