| Description of Subjects/Issues |
Amendments are being proposed to 8 Colorado Code of Regulations 1507-1 to ensure compliance and consistency with state law and federal regulations. Specifically, these amendments incorporate the most recently promulgated Out of Service Criteria set forth by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA); pertinent sections of the October 2014 Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations required as a result of federal law, state law and grant requirements; clarify surge brake requirements and procedures associated with the civil penalty process; new contact information for the CSP Motor Carrier Services Section; and the correction of minor semantic and grammatical errors. |
