| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
House Bill 14-1221 directed DFPC to adopt, by 1-1-15, a separate set of design and installation standards and a separate registration category applicable only to residential fire suppression systems. The purpose of this emergency rule change is to meet that statutory requirement. |

The purpose of this emergency rule is to re-promulgate the emergency rules promulgated on December 30, 2014, in order to continue to meet our statutory requirements and ensure continued compliance. DFPC is actively working with stakeholders to consolidate these rules with 8 CCR 1507-54 and anticipate finalizing the process in the coming months |
