Description of Subjects/Issues |
These amendments to 6 CCR 1007-2 include the deletion and replacement of the existing Section 10 regulations (Waste Tire Facilities and Waste Tire Haulers) with new Section 10 regulations (Waste Tires); the revision of the Section 16 regulations (Materials Prohibited from Disposal); and the associated additions, deletions and revisions to Section 1.2 (Definitions). |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of these amendments are to implement the requirements of House Bill 14-1352, which repealed and reenacted the State's waste tire laws, moving them into the Solid Waste Act. House Bill 14-1352 transferred all waste tire program regulatory authority to the Department of Public Health and Environment. |

6 CCR 1007-2, Part 4 (Regulations Pertaining to the Waste Tire Processor and End User Reimbursement Program) is being repealed in conjunction with this rulemaking. The applicable provisions of 6 CCR 1007-2, Part 4 are being incorporated into the new Section 10 regulations (Waste Tires). |
