Delete provisions that will be set by policy including civil penalties and requirements for license application. Remove unnecessary requirements for apprentice training, interview for certified weighers, training and experience for a device service provider, and requirements for scale pit depth. Clarifying language and additional requirements for device service providers is proposed. These revisions incorporate changes as a result of the Department’s Regulatory Efficiency Review process. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this rulemaking is to delete provisions that will be set by policy including civil penalties and requirements for license application. Remove unnecessary requirements for apprentice training, interview for certified weighers, training and experience for a device service provider, and requirements for scale pit depth. Clarifying language and additional requirements for device service providers is proposed. These revisions incorporate changes as a result of the Department’s Regulatory Efficiency Review process conducted in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order D 2012-002. |
