| Description of Subjects/Issues |
To amend the rule to enforce the provisions of the quarantine by adding: a requirement for certificates accompanying imported seed potatoes; authority to deny unloading of seed potatoes that do not have proper certificates or laboratory test results; a requirement for re-inspection; and changing the interval at which the CO Dept. of Agriculture bills the CO Potato Administrative Committee. These revisions incorporate changes as a result of the Department's Regulatory Efficiency Review Process. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this rulemaking is to amend the rule to enforce the provisions of the quarantine by: adding a requirement for certificates accompanying imported seed potatoes; adding authority to deny unloading of seed potatoes that do not have proper certificates or laboratory test results; adding a requirement for re-inspection; and changing the interval at which the Colorado Department of Agriculture bills the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee. These revisions incorporate changes as a result of the Department’s Regulatory Efficiency Review Process conducted in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order D 2012-002. |
