Modification of current rules based on SB 11-187 and overall clean up of rules. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
These rule changes are necessary because of statutory changes occurring following Senate Bill 11-187, concerning the continuation of the regulation of Mental Health professionals in the State of Colorado and for general overall clean-up and consistency for all mental health program rules. |
| Comments |
These rules were promulgated in order to carry out the powers and duties of the State Board of Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners pursuant to CRS §§ 12-43-203 and 12-43-602.
These rules affect every person seeking licensure as a professional counselor and every person who practices professional counseling/psychotherapy, as defined in CRS § 12-43-201(5), CRS §2-43-201(9), and CRS § 12-43-602.5. |
