| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of the amendment to this regulation is to revise the benefits for the basic and standard health benefit plans to incorporate the changes necessary to comply with the requirements of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, Pub. L. No. 111-148, 124 Stat. 119 (2010) and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, Pub. L. No. 111-152, 124 Stat. 1029 (2010), together referred to as the ?Affordable Care Act? (ACA).This regulation specifies the requirements for the basic and standard health benefit plans as well as other requirements for small employer carriers |
