Amendments are proposed to Part 9: Trichomoniasis to update the rule to clarify definitions, strengthen testing procedures and guidelines, and implement an improved risk-based approach in preventing and controlling Bovine Trichomoniasis, also known as Trich. The changes represent new developments in the science of veterinary medicine and application of that science to better prevent and control the identified disease. These changes address the concerns of the livestock industry. |
