Statutory Authority Section 25-3.5-203(1), C.R.S., as amended by HB 09-1275; and section 24-76.5-103, C.R.S.
Description of Subjects/Issues Amendments to the Rules Pertaining to Emergency Medical Services, Sections 1-6 re: provisional EMT certification.
Purpose/Objective of Rule The main purpose of these amendments is to add language to implement the new law (HB 09-1275) that provides the Department of Public Health and Environment with the authority to issue a provisional certification to an applicant seeking certification as an emergency medical technician.
