In the rule revisions, mandatory school age is expanded to match current Colorado law and the timelines are revised for implementation of the on-time graduation and completion rates |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The existing rules, 1 CCR 301-67, are being changed to comply with the federal guidance provided in the Federal Register on October 29, 2008 (Volume 73, Number 210) ?Title I?Improving Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged? regarding on-time graduation rates which eliminate the flexibility previously allowed in the National Governor?s Association ?Compact on State High School Graduation Data? signed by Governor Owens in July 2005. Mandatory school age is expanded to match current Colorado law and the timelines are revised for implementation of the on-time graduation and completion rates. T |
