Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose of the amendments is to improve grooming and recordkeeping requirements; clarify qualified supervisor requirements; limit numbers of animals in shelter's foster homes; simplify space requirements; and clarify rabbit cage requirements. Regulations are proposed to comply with 2008 legislation requiring that adopted animals be spayed or neutered prior to adoption and includes associated record keeping and reporting requirements. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The amendments improve grooming and recordkeeping requirements; clairfy qualified supervisor requirements; limit numbers of animals in shelter's foster homes; simplify space requirements; and clarify rabbit cage requirements. New rules are adopted to comply with 2008 legislation requiring that adopted animals be spayed or neutered prior to adoption and includes associated record keeping and reporting requirements.
Amendments are adopted for Dog Breeder, Grooming, Animal Rescue Facility, and Animal Shelter Regulations. Parts 12.00, 15.00, 17.00, and 18.00. |
