| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
Statutory Basis:The statutory bases for these rules are 24-4-103, 42-1-204, 42-8-104(1), and 42-8-111(5) CRS. Purpose: These rules revise the compliance requirements which include the size and weight of vehicles and loads and Port of Entry clearance, as well as define operational standards for Ports of Entry operations in order to protect the motoring public on our roadways. These rules also provide a precedure by which owners of special mobile machinery (SMM) may pay a pro-rated specific ownership tax. |
