| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this emergency regulation is to incorporate statutory changes related to HB-1027 that becomes effective on August 6, 2008 concerning building inspection requirements for educational institutions, including requirements related to the certification of third-party inspectors and the prequalification of building departments. This emergency regulation also updates requirements related to the building permit application process, including application submittal requirements, plan review and permitting, including phased permitting and issuance of certificates of occupancy. |
