| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
These rules create a new licensure category called ?acute treatment unit? that will provide short-term psychiatric care to persons with mental illness. The proposed rules implement the provisions of House Bill 06-1277. The proposed rules address issues including, but not limited to: fire safety, emergency preparedness, communicable diseases, dietary services, linen and laundry, and interior and exterior environment. |
