Description of Subjects/Issues To establish a widely accepted protocol for equine viral arteritis (EVA) disease control methods, testing, vaccination and record keeping requirements. This rule will enable owners of equines to contract for breeding their equines with increased confidence that EVA vaccination, testing and disease cotntrol standards reamin in effect in Colorado.
Purpose/Objective of Rule To establish a widely accepted protocol for equine viral arteritis (EVA) disease control methods, testing, vaccination and record keeping requirements. This rule will enable owners of equines to contract for breeding their equines with increased confidence that EVA vaccination, testing and disease control standards remain in effect in Colorado.
