Description of Subjects/Issues |
Amendments to Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Radiation Control, Part 12 ? Fees for Materials Licenses and Other Radiation Services, including an amendment to make Colorado?s fees for a middle size-standard ?small entity? more equitable by category of licensee, and an amendment to adjust the fee for hourly work to a standard rate across the Colorado Radiation Control Program equal to that previously adopted by the Board for radiation machine related services. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
These amendments to Part 12, Fees for Radiation Control Services, of the State of Colorado Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Radiation Control, make fee adjustments that are intended to adequately provide for the Program?s costs for radiation control services. The adjustments are consistent with, but remain a fraction of, NRC fees. The adjustments avoid major fee shifts. The adjustments make the distribution of program costs slightly more equitable between and among types of licensees. (See |
